This historic building located at 221 W. Colorado Ave. was originally built by electricity tycoon and philanthropist LL Nunn in 1892. In its early days, it housed the Phoenix Market which provided meat, fish, vegetables and other necessities to the early miners and residents of Telluride. Nearly 125 years later, the calamities of weather at 8,750 feet took their toll. Renovations began in 2015 to restore this building to its former beauty.
